My Adventure into Design
Although art has always ran through my veins and I've always done things a bit outside of the box, I first realized that I wanted to pursue an art/design career in High School. Art class was always the highlighted time during my 9 hour Monday - Fridays and often traveled to my bedroom or across the living room floor in my house. All aspects of art and creativity interested me, but sculpture is what truly won my heart. Working with my hands and building something tangible excites me on a daily basis. Originally I wanted to pursue a degree in Architecture, it was the perfect combination of math and sculpture, but I soon uncovered the vast other opportunities that SCAD had to offer. I fell in love with problem solving within the design world and set out to absorb everything I could.
